All Inclusive Fees
Our nursery is now an All Inclusive nursery, meaning that we provide all meals, snacks, nappies, wipes and cows milk for your convenience. Our meals and snacks are sourced locally and prepared and cooked freshly by our on-site nursery Chef.
Our toddlers and preschoolers love our regular yoga sessions. We encourage children to stretch and play whilst making different animal poses and practicing balance and calm.
Bonjour! Our pre-school children are given the opportunity to explore another language through French lessons with our visiting French teacher.
Settling in Sessions
Our nursery offers settling in sessions. Parents can bring their child for a couple of hours first, gradually introducing the child to a new environment. Settling in sessions are aimed at helping your child to adapt to their new surroundings and become more familiar with the staff and other children.
Sensory rooms are calm and tranquil spaces which support children's sensory stimulation through the resources and experiences provided. Sensory stimulation - touch, taste, smell, sight and sound - is vital for young children's brain development as the experiences children are instinctively seeking help them to make connections that become stronger over time developing their neural pathways.
Our Physical Development Stars programme ensures that our children are moving for a minimum of 3 hours per day and are using and developing all parts of their body. In addition to the physical development activities that take place in the play rooms and outdoors, we have a newly refurbished physical development room where children will enjoy focused group activities such as yoga, dance and games.
Cooking with Chef
Our children love helping out our fabulous Nursery Chef George with baking and preparing our nursery snacks. We encourage children to learn about how their food is made to support healthy eating habits.
Our nursery encourages children to celebrate festivals throughout the year. This is one of the best ways for children to learn about different religions and cultures by celebrating various world religious festivals, food tasting from different countries, and dressing up in the national dress of their friends.
Eco Schools is a the largest sustainable schools programme in the world and is designed to encourage action on sustainable development education issues. Our children love getting involved in their Eco Schools projects and learning about how to help protect the environment.
Our nursery enjoys great ties with our local community and we are often out and about visiting local sights and getting involved in events.
We celebrate the big move to primary school with a special graduation ceremony each year—caps, gowns, the works!
Our chefs cater to various cultural dietary requirements, and are happy to accommodate your needs.
Our nursery fundraises for Children 1st and Comic Relief. We believe that taking part in fundraising activities helps children to learn about others that are less fortunate than themselves and understand how we can help them. Fundraising events are good fun and are a great way to get children, families and communities together.
In recognition that education begins in the home, we are fully committed to a partnership approach with parents. Parents are kept up to date with monthly newsletters, parent focus groups and parent’s evenings. Parents are also able to keep up to date with activities going on in the nursery by following our group social media accounts; Holyrood Facebook and Holyrood Twitter.
We are lucky to have bi-lingual staff who are able to support children in their first language, or in exploring new languages. This not only helps children settle well into nursery, but also provides opportunities to better understand and celebrate children’s cultures and heritage. Here at Holyrood Altrincham we have staff that are fluent in Urdu, Hindi, Farsi, Pushto and Danish.
We accept your courier deliveries to make things that little bit easier for busy mums and dads.
